2008 PIR STARS OPEN COMPETITION RULES

This Event is run in accordance to applicable Tucson Raceway Park 2008 Late Model Rules available at www.tucsonracewaypark.com

Weight Clarifications – See 2007 TRP Rule Book - Late Model Rule 4A for Details

Irwindale Super Late Models – 3000 lbs. (may remove intake restrictor)

Irwindale Late Models – 2700 lbs. (may remove intake restrictor)

Las Vegas Super Late Models – 2850 lbs. (with LVMS Spec engine)

Las Vegas Late Models – 2750 lbs. (with LVMS Spec engine)

1. All cars must compete with VP 110 purchased at the track fuel station only. The fuel shall not be blended with alcohols, ethers or other oxygenates and shall not be blended with aniline or its derivatives, nitro compounds or nitrogen containing compounds. Fuel is subject to testing at anytime

2. The Hoosier 2040 Tire is the only Tire permitted, The Tires qualified on must be used throughout the Event, No air bleeders, Maximum 10” wheel (see rulebook) Tires are available at the Raceway.

3. Two way radio communication is required. (rentals will be available)

4. All competitors are subject to added ballast at the discretion of Tucson Raceway Park officials at any time to insure fairness in competition.

5. The Driver is responsible for the conduct of his or her crew at all times, everyone is expected to act in a professional manner. Profanity will not be tolerated at any time. Respect must be given to officials at all times.

6. Any protest must be made in writing by the Driver within 20 minutes of the completion of the event and must be accompanied by a $300.00 cash protest fee.

7. All competitors will be required to participate in all pre and post race Track media events ABOVE ALL ! LETS HAVE FUN !
