ASA SPEED TRUCK CHALLENGE AND VERVE! ENERGIZE RACES WITH $50,000 DRIVER PURSEASA SPEED TRUCK CHALLENGE

UPLAND, California — It was one of those magical evenings at Lucas Oil I-10 Speedway on the Colorado River Fairgrounds in Blythe, California last Saturday night. Despite the incredibly hot day in preparation for the feature race of the evening, the ASA Speed Truck Challenge (ASA STC) pit areas were abuzz with the anticipation of the first of the three final races of the season where the injection of an additional $50,000 into the driver purse fund by VERVE! members was to start. “We knew that adding this additional $15,000 to tonight’s race would be exciting, but we had no idea that our teams would share our own enthusiasm to this degree,” said Jay Rutherford, owner of the series. “In response to our hard work over the past two months on their behalf, VERVE! members stepped to the plate with this exciting Purse Fund addition that has everyone motivated to take a hard look at our Motorsports Economic Stimulus Program,” continued Rutherford. This new Motorsports Economic Stimulus Program to which Rutherford refers was announced recently from the ASA STC offices, which gives drivers and their team’s opportunity to be a part of a unique hybrid marketing program with VEMMA Nutrition Company offering “An Insanely Healthy Energy Drink” – VERVE! To combat the huge, multi-billion dollar energy drink market, VERVE! developed a delicious, fast-acting energy blend with an ultra premium vitamin and mineral supplement and a powerful super juice containing mangosteen and aloe phytonutrients. VERVE! is taking the world by storm! Says VERVE! member Doug Thompson, “In tough times of economy when everyone could use extra income, VERVE! has developed a product that is actually three great products in one. And, allows the Motorsports teams to share VERVE! with others and have the opportunity to get paid as Independent Members. With this unique self funding “network marketing” opportunity, we can change the way racers have funded their sport for decades, counting on companies to write checks to sponsor their racing.” The 100-lap feature at I-10 Speedway did not disappoint the large crowd in attendance although there were more cautions than is normally seen out of these excellent Speed Truck drivers. “It was just one of those nights,” said new ASA STC Race Director Jeff Austine. “The guys did a super job of trying to stay out of trouble, but some of our drivers just had a bad night on this very tight and very tough “bullring” race track.” Two-Time Champion Darren Young in the #18 United Nissan/Sudden Impact Chevy S-10 potentially slammed the door shut on anyone trying to catch him in the 2008 Championship points’ race, particularly since #38 Todd McLauchlan, currently in the second place spot was unable to start the race due to a hung throttle linkage that crashed his Speed Truck in pre-race warm-up laps. Young went on to take the checkered flag for the 100-lap event with some ease despite several cautions. He was followed by his two United Nissan teammates of #3 Chris Buescher of Prosper, Texas and #03 Karl Forman of Las Vegas, NV. With the 1-2-3 sweep, these United Nissan drivers picked up the lions share of the VERVE! purse for the evening with the top prize money of $2,000 going to Young, $1,200 to Buescher, $1,100 to Forman, $1,000 to Colodny and $1,000 to Catlin. Jeff Catlin – 5th Dallas Colodny – 4th Karl Forman – 3rd Chris Buescher – 2nd Darren Young – 1st “Much thanks to VERVE! members and my team for giving me increased incentive tonight and a great truck to go get the first VERVE! win,” said an enthusiastic and beaming Young. Overall, the evening couldn’t have gone better with all the ASA STC drivers coming out winners with the increased purse. “We are obviously thrilled to have this opportunity to work with VERVE! and we are looking forward to our last two races of the season and into 2009,” said Rutherford. “We owe it all to VERVE! members Doug Thompson and Greg Varley as well as company President, B.K. Boreyko, Creative Director Scott Flatt, and many other VERVE! friends for their faith and support of the ASA Speed Truck Challenge and for making this happen. We will continue to work very hard for VERVE! and our teams and get the word out to others that the VERVE! opportunity can help drive money back to their Motorsports efforts. This program is not just for the ASA STC but for anyone that may be looking for the opportunity to earn additional income, racer or not.” For more information on the new Motorsports Economic Stimulus Program, contact Jay Rutherford at jay@speedtruck.com.
