SAT. NIGHT'S ENDURO RESULTS FROM MANZANITA SPEEDWAY

PHOENIX, Arizona -- Josh Crabtree came from a two lap deficit and finished three laps ahead of Brian Beirmann in winning his second U-Pull-It 150 lap bomber enduro Saturday night at Manzanita Speedway.

Crabtree, winner of the November 18, 2006 Enduro started 46th in the field and had the lead by the 40th lap. However a minor problem sent him to the pits and he lost two laps before returning to the track. He made up the deficit and took the lead for good just past the 100 lap mark. He never let up and built a three lap cushion when the checkered flag waved. It marked a sixth enduro win for the Crabtree family as Ed, Josh’s father, scored four wins before turning the challenge over to his son.

Bill Lewis drove a steady race and finished 146 laps, good enough for third. The rest of the top ten, in order, were Rex Hasley, Kent Staley, Victor Soto, Gilbert Madrid, Jr., Stacy Askren, Todd Beirmann and Estaban Soto.

The enduro marked the end of Manzanita’s 2007 season. The 2008 season will begin in February.
