TORRANCE, California - With six races completed and 2,296.84 miles later, 22 of the world's best desert racers from eight different classes were presented with the prestigious 2007 Toyota Milestone Award at the SCORE Awards Night in Primm Valley, Nevada on Saturday, December 8.

In addition to the Toyota Milestone Awards, two of the 22 off-road competitors also earned and will split the $12,000 Toyota True Grit Award. Both awards were presented at the SCORE annual awards banquet.

"Toyota has been a part of the world's best desert racing series and competitors for 22 years," said Les Unger, Toyota Motorsports national manager. "We have the honor of presenting the $12,000 Toyota True Grit Award to two deserving competitors and a record- setting 22 Toyota Milestone Awards to some of the toughest racers on the planet."

The Toyota Milestone Award is presented to all SCORE off-road competitors in the professional four-wheel classes who complete every required mile in the six-race desert series.

The 22 drivers who earned the 2007 Toyota Milestone Award are B.J Baldwin, Garron Cadiente, Travis Coyne, Mark Post and Larry Ragland (SCORE Trophy-Truck), Eric Chase, Billy Gasper, Dale Lenk, Dan Myers and Ronny Wilson (Class 1), Dave Caspino, Hiram Duran, Eliseo Garcia, L.J. The class points champion(s) in non-factory-backed classes 1/2-1600, 5, 10 and SCORE Lite who finish every required mile in the six-race series will split the $12,000 Toyota

True Grit Award bonus purse. Two California residents, Dave Caspino (Class 1/2-1600) and
