GOLDEN STATE RACING, BUMBERA, AND NEW SPONSORS PREPARE FOR 2008 SEASON TEXAS DRIVER TO RUN FULL-TIME AT ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAYALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY

![]() ROSEVILLE, California – Golden State Racing has signed Kristin Bumbera of Sealy, TX to compete in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Western Late Models at All American Speedway in Roseville, CA. The 20 year-old Bumbera is coming off of a second place finish in the points at Houston Motorsports Park in Houston, TX. She earned 11 top-tens and five top-fives in 2007. Bumbera was signed through the 2008 Drive for Diversity program. Granite Bay veteran John Moore and Wilton, CA USAC standout Laura Hayes will be Bumbera’s teammates in the three car operation at All American Speedway. 2006 SRL champion and 2007 All American Speedway champion Eric Schmidt will serve as Bumbera’s driving coach with Eric Snyder as crew chief. 2008 will mark Bumbera’s sixth year in Late Model competition and first year under the NASCAR banner. Bumbera ran under ASA in Texas. “I’m really excited for the opportunity,” Bumbera said. “I know I’m going to be with a great team that is proven to win.” With her family being a supplier of Port City chassis in Texas, Bumbera was raised around racing and with an in-depth knowledge of chassis setups. “I can’t imagine coming into this sport on my own,” Bumbera said. “It’s a great advantage to me having my dad involved so heavily in the sport.” Bumbera also brings a long-time sponsor: TXI – Riverside Cement Company. Bumbera has toured extensively with TXI at tradeshows and events, learning the ins and outs of sponsorship representation. “TXI has sponsored me for three years and I’m excited to have them on board,” Bumbera said. “It’s an awesome relationship and they have been very supportive.” Golden State Racing and Kristin Bumbera will make their season debut on April 5th at All American Speedway. Golden State Racing has added two more chassis from Race Car Factory to its stable for 2008. AT&T and Yellowpages.com have renewed their partnership for the seventh year with Golden State Racing and will be primary sponsor for John Moore and Eric Schmidt. Rubicon Oil Company has signed on as the team’s new oil sponsor.
