BRANDEN UNDERWOOD TAKES RACING CAREER TO NEXT LEVEL

Young and talented 15 year old High School Student, Branden Underwood will be taking his driving career to a new level of racing on October 18, 2008. He will be driving the #28 Dodge Dakota ASA Speed Truck at Havasu 95 Speedway in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The ASA Speed Truck Challenge series is a televised racing event that covers racing in Arizona, Nevada and California.

Branden Underwood started racing karts at age 7-½ years old, and with his driving experience he currently holds several titles and a Career Standing of 101 Top Five finishes 21 First Place wins, and 36 top Ten finishes. His titles include; World Karting Association Grand National Champion and International Karting Federation Region 7 Champion. This new racing experience will allow Branden to excel and compete in his #28 Dodge Dakota Speed Truck. And helping Branden to be a successful driver at the race will be Crew Chief Dana Stahl, who has 40 years of racing experience.

Branden is currently a Sophmore and Honor Roll student at Coronado High School in Henderson Nevada. Branden enjoys watching all the NASCAR and Craftsman Truck Series races each weekend when he isn’t racing. His protégé is Jeff Gordon, but he also looks up to the local talented Las Vegas NASCAR drivers. NASCAR Champion Kurt Busch and NASCAR and Craftsman Truck driver Kyle Busch and Brendan Gaughan. These drivers inspired Branden and give him encouragement to one day reach his goal of driving in the NASCAR racing series.

Branden will be racing in the ASA Speed Truck Challenge series full time next year and he would like to thank his current sponsors for making this possible.
