Counting on his decade’s worth of elite footballing experience, Zidane, as part of his ambassadorial role, is passing on his wealth of knowledge to Alpine’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes, including the well-established Rac(H)er and Concours Excellence Mecanique (CEMA).

Launched in July 2022, Alpine’s Rac(H)er programme is designed to reinforce meritocracy across genders in all company areas. From racing drivers to engineering and technical roles, the Rac(H)er programme lays out a clear and defined roadmap to increase the diversity of talent within Alpine.

CEMA is Alpine’s programme dedicated to aspiring automotive mechanics. It is sponsored by Esteban, with the competition offering opportunities to students in France within the automotive mechanic sector to highlight skills and expertise in the field. The three-stage competition across theory and practical tests has an end outcome of a work placement at Alpine’s Viry Chatillon base in Paris.

Sauber Motorsport announced that its current Major Partner, Kick.com, the innovative, community-driven streaming platform, has acquired the naming rights to the chassis of next year’s contender, which will be known as the KICK Sauber C44. The new team name for 2024 and 2025 will be released in the forthcoming FIA Entry List.

Kick.com’s branding has already appeared prominently on the bodywork of the F1 Team’s C43 at selected races this year, having been announced as a Major Partner at the start of the 2023 F1 season. Today’s announcement further deepens the strong ties between the F1 Team and the streaming platform that has experienced huge exponential growth since launching last year. Targeting a global audience since its inception in October 2022, KICK is centred on a ‘creator-first’ model based on the industry’s most rewarding subscription revenue system, a 95-5 split where creators will retain 95% of their revenue. This approach, alongside the engaging content created by a growing cast of creators featuring some of the biggest names in streaming and industry headliners, has resulted in Kick.com reaching an astounding 22 million registered users since its launch, with thousands flocking to the platform every day.

Some of the most iconic buildings on the Ferrari campus provide the backdrop to light projections that express the unique nature of a company composed of over 5,000 people. The show occupies a scenic space of more than one kilometre along Viale Enzo Ferrari. It is animated with three-dimensional images and light architectures created by over 400 elements using the latest low-energy technologies, including projectors, LED bars and laser effects.

Projected onto the brick arch framing Ferrari’s historic entranceway are videos of some cars passing through it over the years. They include the 125 S, which debuted here in 1947, marking the start of an incredible series of models, and the two 499P Hypercars that marked the Prancing Horse’s triumphant return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans this June.

Continuing along the avenue lit up in red, the former paint shop tower is transformed into a large screen illuminated with the values that the Prancing Horse has always embodied: Individual and Team, Tradition and Innovation, Passion and Achievement.

Lewis Hamilton paid a special visit to students from the team’s Mulberry STEM Academy at the Mulberry School for Girls in East London on Tuesday.

Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton visited the Mulberry School for Girls in Tower Hamlets, London, on Tuesday (5 December) to see first-hand how the Mulberry Schools Trust and Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix’s Accelerate 25 partnership are helping to empower students from under-represented backgrounds towards careers in STEM.

The visit gave Lewis the opportunity to get involved with several hands-on STEM activities, including a STEM fair, learning about coding in a Robotics lesson and enjoying an immersive art experience which showcased the students’ technical skills in digital and production arts. Following the classroom learning, the students delighted in showing Lewis their Racetrack Garage and displayed their Greenpower Trust cars. The students also had the opportunity to ask questions to Lewis and ask for advice as he toured the school.

Among the students chosen to guide Lewis on his visit were representatives from the Mulberry STEM Academy. Formed in 2020 as part of our Accelerate 25 programme, the Academy is an innovative partnership between the team and the Mulberry Schools Trust. Providing imaginative teaching, career coaching and industry experience, supported and coached throughout by team members, the partnership’s main aim is to encourage more diversity in STEM, Formula One, and the team.
